The 42nd Plenary of the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) commenced today in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, taking place from 11 to 13 May 2026, under the presidency of H.E. Hamid Saif AlZaabi, President of the Group.

The opening session was attended by H.E. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Morocco, and H.E. Suleiman AlJabrin, Executive Secretary of MENAFATF, alongside heads of delegations and experts in anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, and counter-proliferation financing from member states, as well as observers from regional and international countries and organizations.
