The 39th MENAFATF Plenary and Working Group meetings commenced this morning under the Presidency of the Republic of Yemen and the generous hosting of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Central Bank, during the period from November 16 to 21, 2024 in Riyadh.
The Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) in cooperation with the Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation in the United Arab Emirates, has launched this morning, the seminar on “Best Practices on Implementing Targeted Financial Sanctions and Sanctions Evasion" seminar. The seminar was attended by experts from the committee and experts in implementing targeted financial sanctions in member countries and was generously hosted by the United Arab Emirates in Dubai.

Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (“MENAFATF”) launched this morning, Sunday, 14 July 2024, the Advanced Strategic Analysis Course, held over 5 days in the city of Amman - the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with the support of the EGMONT Centre of FIU Excellence and Leadership (ECOFEL) , and in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the generous hosting of the Jordanian Anti Money laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Unit .

In cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) and with support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the generous hosting of the Egyptian FIU (EMLCU), the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) organized between 29-30 April 2024 a Regional Meeting for the Establishment of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network (ARIN) in the Middle East and North Africa Region.
In partnership FATF, and generous hosting the Executive Office to Combat Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing in the United Arab Emirates, MENAFATF conducted Standards Training Course during the period (14-18 April 2024) to MENAFATF member countries.
